The symposium of media and women which is arranged within the second punishment and crime film festival occurred with the participation of several important speaker. These participants were the president of RTUK(Radio and Television Supreme Council) , journalists Oral Çalışlar and Ayşe Bölürler ,Prof. Dr. Bengi Semerci. The main topic was the discrimination between men and women in the media. After all the speeches, unanimously decided to change this discriminative behaviors.The first change can start with medias’ self-criticization. And also Media has to eliminate distinction between men and women.
