Under the control of Turkish Grand National Assembly, ‘International Symposium on Children At Risk And In Need Of Protection’ has been held by The Public Order And Crime Investigation Department and Police Academy since 2009. This year, 4th “International Symposium on Children at Risk and in Need of Protection” was held between 24-25 April 2012.
Prof. Dr. Bengi Semerci was a panelist in the opening panel of symposium which has the main subject of ‘The Child and Informatics.’ Prof.Dr. Bengi Semerci gave a speech about the Cyber Genaration : Internet’s Effects on Children’s Physical and Psychosocial Development and explained the effects of Internet on children and the methods of protection of these effects. The participation to symposium was great and participants both from Turkey and abroad discussed the theme in every aspect.
